So at first I was a little optimistic because the Democratic majority in the Senate isn't fillibuster-proof, but then I remembered that the Republican caucus has been trying to do socialism-lite for the last 8+ years in an attempt to buy a permanent majority through populist pandering. I highly doubt that same bunch will mount any serious opposition to the coming leviathan.
Let it burn, the ideological purge of the GOP is nowhere near completed.
Third party ascendance in the coming decade? It could happen.
